About me

Hello, I'm Jens van der Heijden and on this site you can find some general information about me. All news and race results can be found in my blog. Enjoy reading !

I live in Schaijk (North Brabant) and I am 16 years old. Cars, racing, formula 1 etcetera is my passion. That is why I'm very happy that my parents allow me to go karting.

In March 2017 I followed the kart training at Chrono and at the end of 2017 I got my first kart. A Parolin Lemans with a 125cc 2T Rotax engine with 15 hp. I also did the advanced training at Chrono and obtained my racing license.

I rode my very first race in the winter cup in March 2018. That was in Berghem. That resulted in a P5 in the final. Very happy with this result and good enough to start the adventure in the Dutch championship.

This season (2022) I will compete with my mechanic Bart Kienhuis in the senior class and I will focus on the Dutch championship and perhaps some European races. A new team JJ Racing team led by Jeffrey Groothuis and powered by JVD power, led by Jacco van Dijk.
